OUR ESSENTIAL BELIEFS
These are the most significant aspects of our faith:
We believe in the God of the Bible, who is the Creator of all that has been revealed through the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who is God is eternal, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent and immutable. God is holy, just and upright. God is love, compassionate, merciful and kind.
- THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is an inspired, infallible and immutable word from God, from Genesis to Revelation.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful to teach, to represent, to correct, and to instruct in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16
- ONE GOD IN THREE PERSONS
We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and that the three are one.
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5: 7’’
- THE DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, who was crucified, died and was raised from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
''Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14´´
We believe that salvation is obtained through repentance and confession of our sins, and this through grace (not through works) through faith in Christ Jesus.
''Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12''
- THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD AND ETERNAL LIFE
We believe in the second coming of Jesus for His people, the resurrection of the dead and the abduction of the church. All people will be judged by God. Those whose name is written in the book of life will be raptured for eternal life and those who are not for eternal damnation.
''But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17''
We believe in sanctification as a work that took place instantaneously in the spirit, but is also progressively developing in the soul and body of a child of God.
''Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14''
We believe in baptism in the body of Christ, by which people accept Jesus, have a new birth and become a part of the Body of Christ and his eternal life.
We believe in water baptism as a symbol that identifies the believer with death (to sin) and the resurrection of Jesus to eternal life. ''Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6: 4''
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in new tongues, and that through this baptism we receive power to be witnesses of Jesus throughout the world. ''But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1: 8''
- IMPOSITION OF HANDS
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in new tongues, and that through this baptism we receive power to be witnesses of Jesus throughout the world.
''Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 1 Timothy 4:14 ''
- THE EVANGELISTS MINISTRY
We believe it is one of the ways used to convey the blessing, healing, and power of God from one person to another.
''And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. Ephesians 4:11''
- GOVERNMENT MINISTRIES
We believe that the apostles and prophets are government ministries that lay the foundation of the Christian doctrine of the church.
''Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. Ephesians 3: 5''
- THE APOSTOLIC GOVERNMENT
We believe in establishing the apostolic government of the local church; with an apostle as the leader; the prophet as part of the government, and the ministers and elders. Ephesians 4:11
- GOD'S KINGDOM
We believe that the kingdom of God is a government and Jesus is its King, we believe that these truths are supreme and absolute.
''But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Acts 8:12''
- THE HEALING AND LIBERATING POWER OF THE KINGDOM
We believe in the power of the Kingdom to heal the sick, rebuke the demons and perform miracles, signs and wonders.
''But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Matthew 12:28''
We believe that without faith it is impossible to please God and that through Him we inherit His promises.
''But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11: 6''
- PREACH THE GOSPEL
We believe in expanding the Kingdom's gospel locally, nationally and globally by any means possible.
''And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Matthew 24:14''
